When you think Westlake, many people automatically associate it with the nationally famous Eanes Independent School District.  Indeed, a great number of people seek out a home in Westlake just so their kids can be exposed to the wonderful learning environment there.  This map shows Eanes ISD is actually much larger than the city of  West Lake Hills.  While the schools are indeed world class, there are many other reasons to select a home in West Lake Hills.

Here is a little bit of trivia for you: most of Westlake Drive is not in West Lake Hills city limits.  Here is an interactive map of West Lake Hills that you will find interesting.   In fact, much of the area that people think of as “Westlake” are not in the West Lake city limits at all.  As you can imagine, this can lead to a lot of confusion over definitions, so we are going to break down the property searches by Eanes ISD, which will cover all homes for sale in Eanes Independent School District, and then below that we’ll break it down by the various subdivisions.
