Central east Austin is often referred to by the names Cherrywood and French Place.  Hard core residents of the area may want you to be specific in defining their neighborhood, but the truth of the matter is few people know what the hard boundries of the neighborhood are.  As a former resident of the area, I didn’t have either Cherrywood OR French Place in my legal description.  As a matter of fact, if I looked out my front door, every house I saw had a different legal subdivision name.  You’ll also hear Wilshire Wood as a subdivision name for the area.  Yes, there are differences, but overall most people wouldn’t know what they are.  We’re happy to show you around the area and point out which homes belong to the individual legal addresses.
